Jeff and Joyce Glaser - Owners
Jeff comes from a car enthusiast background, starting with his first job at sixteen working for the local Chevrolet Dealer and progressing on to repairing Semi-trucks, Semi-trailers, and diesel equipment. Over the years, Jeff found himself working with an Off road racing team, a local Stock Car team, and a Top Fuel Funny car team. With an extensive background in management and supervision coupled with automotive experience, operating a Hot Rod shop was dream come true!
Joyce is a product of over twenty-five years of being around Jeff. Her background includes many years of supervisory experience and customer service. Having spent so much time around Jeff and his passion for cars, it was inevitable she would have four wonderful sons who each had their own passion for custom and exotic cars. Her skills at dealing with people and organization make her a great fit as General Manager.
Shawn Mickelson - Shop Foreman
Shawn has been around the automotive world since birth. His passion for customizing started as a child growing up around his father's paint and body shop. As a young adult, Shawn began his working career with Kar Kraft Paint and Body in Vancouver where he learned welding, sheet metal fabrication, and hammer and dolly techniques for working metal. He employs an in depth working knowledge of automobiles obtaining certifications in Steering/Suspension/Alignment, Braking Systems, Heating/Cooling/AC, Engine Performance, and general maintenance services. Later, Shawn worked for Woody's 4x4 Inc. where he gained experience with drivetrains/diferentials, aftermarket and custom suspension systems, custom steering geometry, and accessory installations. Being our Shop Foreman takes a good deal of his time and attention, yet he still manages to get involved in every project in the shop. Shawn is a true car lover and enjoys being elbow deep into his work. With is dedication to customer satisfaction and project quality, Shawn is the final word on project completion.
Dave Boss - Technician
Dave comes to us with a wealth of experience and talents fresh from 3 years in Africa supporting a mission group where he really got to hone his resourcefulness! No part stores around those corners. He is an experienced painter, machinist, and fabricator with lots of mechanical talent and a very sharp eye for details. We often utilize Dave to develop those "work around" solutions for problem situations.
Jon Glaser - Technician
Jon is the eldest son of Joyce and Jeff and a new father! His background includes three years of metal work at a Portland area metal shop, as well as artistic skills with drawing. He is an experienced welder and is learning the skills of the shop from Lance as well as the rest of the team. Jon has been instrumental in the creation of a 1930 Chevrolet Coupe hot rod working on the frame, body, and drive train. In addition, he is an accomplished guitarist and plays regularly with a local band.
